Shaftless Screw Conveyor Description:
Tubular troughs are fully enclosed screw conveyor troughs with a round cross-sectional area. A disadvantage of this design is the fact that the options available for inspecting and cleaning the inside of the conveyor are limited or sometimes even inexistent. This trough shape is used primarily with discharge screws and with screw conveyors placed in rising arrangements. In special cases, such as when conveying water, the tubular trough can also be permanently joined to the conveying screw.
